Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide inspections, communicate with customers, and operate our website.
- Inspection bookings: When you schedule an inspection through our website, the form is hosted by our scheduling partner, Spectora. The information you provide (name, phone, email, property address, date and time) is transmitted directly to Spectora and to us. See Spectora's privacy policy at spectora.com.
- Direct inquiries: When you call, text, or email us, we receive the contact information you provide and the content of your message.
- Website analytics: We use anonymized analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors find and use our site. This includes general location, device type, pages viewed, and time on site. We do not collect personally identifying information through analytics.
- Inspection delivery: Inspection reports are delivered through Spectora and contain photos and findings about the property. The information necessary to identify the property and the customer is included in the report.

We keep inspection records for as long as required by South Carolina state law and our business insurance carrier, typically a minimum of seven years. Email correspondence is retained at our discretion. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing office@candidhomeinspections.com, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. Email office@candidhomeinspections.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
